Privacy Policy

Please note: This is a courtesy translation. The German version at https://berliner-taxiwerbung.de/datenschutz.php is the legally binding one.

1. Overview

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you. Some data is collected because you provide it to us — for example when you fill in the contact form. Other data (such as browser type, operating system or time of page access) is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the site, primarily to ensure the website is delivered without errors.

You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data, and to request its rectification or erasure. Details on your rights can be found in the section “Rights of data subjects” below. You can contact us at any time with questions about data protection.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider (hoster). Personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster’s servers. This may include IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website accesses and other data generated via a website.

The hoster is used for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online services by a professional provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our hoster will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfil its service obligations and will follow our instructions with regard to this data.

We use the following hoster:

BNC Network Consult GmbH
Lützowstr. 105
10785 Berlin, Germany

3. Responsible party (controller)

The party responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the GDPR is:

F & C Berliner Taxiwerbung GmbH
Wiesendamm 37
13597 Berlin, Germany

Phone: +49 30 233 243 010
Email: info@berliner-tw.de

The controller is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).

We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. Unless a more specific retention period is stated in this policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for the processing no longer applies, subject to statutory retention obligations (e.g. under tax or commercial law).

4. Rights of data subjects

Under the GDPR you have the following rights with regard to your personal data. To exercise any of them, you can contact us at any time using the details above.

5. SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address line changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar. When SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties. Please note, however, that data transmission on the internet (e.g. communication by email) can generally have security gaps.

6. Cookies

Our website uses so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are deleted automatically at the end of your visit; permanent cookies remain stored until you delete them yourself or your browser deletes them automatically.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you have requested, or to optimise the website are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is stated: the website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the cookies concerned are stored exclusively on the basis of that consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); consent can be withdrawn at any time.

You can configure your browser to inform you when cookies are set, to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general, and to delete cookies automatically when the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

7. Contact form & enquiries by email or phone

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, the details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. The same applies to enquiries you send us by email or phone: your enquiry, including all personal data resulting from it (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be withdrawn at any time.

The data you send us via contact requests remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for the data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular retention periods — remain unaffected.
